At last week’s October Board meeting, the Board of Education approved a more stringent Student Attendance Policy, which goes into effect immediately. A copy of the policy is attached for your review: https://5il.co/3rd9t. Parents will be invited to an upcoming attendance meeting with Mr. Taylor (Venice Truancy Officer), ROE Truancy Officer Tim Rhymer, and myself in the coming weeks. Together, I’m hopeful that we’ll see a positive improvement in student attendance! Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
